Becoming a Gymnastics judge is a rewarding way to become involved and support gymnastics, as well as giving a good insight into the purpose and targets of the sport.
All gymnastics judges have to have appropriate level BG insurance, a current DBS check and in most instances a current Safeguarding Children certificate. They must also attend a judging course and pass a theory and practical exam. The judging qualification has to be renewed every 4 years.
If you are already involved with a gymnastics club and would like to become a judge for Yorkshire Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, the first step is to speak to the Head Coach or Club Manager of your club.
If you are not currently a judge and not involved with a club, then please contact the Regional Judging Course Organiser on the following email email@example.com
If you are a qualified judge and would like to judge independently within Yorkshire, whether that is on an ongoing basis or just for a one-off competition, then please contact the Judging Coordinator by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Details of up and coming judging courses will be found on our Courses and Clinics page under Development or alternatively by clicking here.
