Yorkshire WTC Covid Protocols

Please ensure all your gymnasts, parents, coaches, judges and volunteer helpers are aware of the following information regarding the protocols the Yorkshire WTC have put in place to protect everyone involved at Competitions. These protocols are required by the venues and are required in order to allow events to take place.

Hopefully you will appreciate that the Yorkshire WTC and the Leisure Centres have put in reasonable mitigations to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.

If someone from your gym club develops Covid-19 symptoms, they should follow governemnt and NHS current guidance, even if their symptoms are mild or they are asymptomatic. They should not attend the competition whether they are gymnasts, parents, coaches, judges or volunteer helpers.

All people over the age of 16 attending competitions should either show proof of a lateral flow test or double vaccination. If they cannot, they will not be allowed to attend the competition.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE ARE MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE VENUES IN ORDER TO RUN THE EVENT – UNFORTUNATELY, THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS
