Women’s Artistic Technical Committee 

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2017

The AGM of the WTC is to be held on Tuesday 5th December 2017 at Holiday Inn Express, Oulton. It will commence at 7.30pm. After the AGM there will be a meeting of the WTC under the usual agenda.

Nominations are invited for the following posts on the committee:

·         Chair ·         Judge and Coach Education Officer
·         Vice Chair ·         Joint Training Officer (YES Co-ordinator)
·         Secretary ·         Communication and Media Officer
·         Finance Manager ·         Competition Co-ordinator
·         Judging Convenor ·         Competition Organiser
·         Squad Director ·         Competition Organiser
·         Welfare Officer ·         Competition Organiser (Floor Manager)

 

Role descriptions will be sent in additional emails and are also available at the website by clicking here. Please note that the role descriptions for Welfare and Finance are still in draft.

Nominations must be accompanied by

  • the name of the Proposer,
  • the name of the Seconder
  • a short resume of relevant experience supplied by the nominated person, to enable an informed decision.

In the event that there is more than one candidate nominated for a post, a vote will take place at the AGM and all CLUBS attending the meeting will be entitled to one vote per position.

Nominations can be made via email to [email protected] or via the online form here.

The Secretary must receive all nominations including the names of the Proposer and Seconder and resume no later than midnight on the 26th November 2017.

Nominations and resumes will then be circulated prior to the meeting.

Notice of Motions

Requests for notice of motions for discussion at the AGM must be submitted in writing, in email to [email protected] or via the online form here by midnight on 26th November 2017.

Spectators Welcome – Upcoming Competitions

The team competitions are just around the corner. Spectators are welcome. Come and see what Women’s Artistic Gymnasts are achieving in Yorkshire. Come and see if this is the sport for you, come and support a team, a club, an individual.

Our starters, Level 7 share the weekend with our higher level gymnasts, Level 4 – FIG, on November 18th and 19th

NEW YORKSHIRE HANDBOOK RELEASED

The New Yorkshire Handbook is here.

The New Yorkshire Handbook with the new criteria has been released. The criteria is applicable for the Level 7 to Level 2 competitions in the autumn.

Please read carefully, the criteria has changed significantly at all levels to accommodate the new code.

The new handbook is downloadable here. Please ensure that you replace your copies of any previous handbooks.
